Malaika Arora Refused To Take A Pay Cut For Judging Duties At India's Best Dancer? - Reports
The Coronavirus lockdown has called for huge losses for production houses. As no shows or films could be shot or released in the last two months, the industry has suffered a loss. We have heard quite a few stories of celebrities complaining about non-payment of dues. Now, the Government has given a green signal to the industry to start shooting shows and films in non-containment zones. As per reports, reality show India's Best Dancer that is being judged by Malaika Arora, Terrance Lewis and Geeta Kapoor will commence shooting from June 27.

A report in Peeping Moon suggests that the makers of the show were skeptical on calling Malaika Arora as many stars still don't want to step out of their home due to the pandemic. But, they did and Malaika willingly said yes to begin shooting from June 27. As per a source of the portal, "She was excited to be back on the sets and sounded too eager to start the shooting with immediate effect. The team has assured the star to take all the necessary precautions before they resume the shoot."

Further, the report also suggests that Malaika was asked to take a pay cut in her fees. To make up for the loss incurred by the production house, celebrities are being asked to take a pay cut. Malaika, however, didn't seem to be on-board with the idea of a pay cut and she refused. "After a brief talk, the producers agreed to continue with her with the same salary package," told a source to the portal.

We are just excited that we'll get to see new shows.  (Also Read: Malaika Arora Strikes The Perfect Yoga Asana Tree Pose; Rahul Khanna Has The Funniest Reply Ever)
